I watched the entire run of Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll.
I enjoyed it.
A lot.

With a gimp mask?
I enjoy Ugly Betty.
Dolph Lundgren movies. “I’m all ears”.
Sorry, but I just had to bump this up because I thought of the PERFECT addition.
I’m a guy, first of all. I’m 27. I like rock and roll and classic rock. I like guy things too.
But my God, do I love, not only the SONG “White Houses” by Vanessa Carlton, but also the music video of it. A lot.
This is something I once mentioned to my girlfriend and she looked at me weird so I never brought it up again, but I just can’t help it. :o It’s a great song and video. :o :o
The Sound of Music. It’s so sentimental, so Pink, but I love it!
I normally love a good hard boiled mystery along the lines of Raymond Chandler, I love action movies and comedies and I would rather drop a bowling ball on my ingrown toenail than watch a chick flick, but dang, I love Kelley Armstrong, Kim Harrison and Charlaine Harris’s other worldly books.
Kelley Armstrong is tough…but damned if I can explain the attraction to the other two even though I wait impatientingly for the new books.
I can turn the SCi Fi channel on and leave it…No I cant ,I gotta look around during commercials. But I do come back.again and again. Used to like Iron Chef.\ But the American version is not cheesy enough.
I am so with you, Monkey With A Gun. I’m a professional. People defer to me for advice every day of the week. I’m strong and ruthless from a business perspective.
Yet, I too, cannot miss The Gilmore Girls. I am thinking about buying the dvd set.
Hey, I’m a guy. I’ve competed in rodeos, branded cattle, and I can back a trailer full of cattle up a hill on a curved dirt road in the rain. I’m also a writer (20 books, over 200 articles), I’ve taught college, and I own a bookstore. I’ve recently finished rereading The Odyssey and I’m in the middle of a book on PHP and SQL.
And I’ve read the first nine Stephanie Plum novels.
Hey – they’re a great way to shut off the brain and unwind.
I don’t feel guilty about any of them but I do like some things that fly against the typical male stereotype. For instance:
I like Celine Dion. She isn’t my favorite but I do enjoy her singing quite a bit. Last week at the gym I had my ipod on shuffle and these were the first three songs: Celine Dion - To Love you more, Linkin Park - Crawling, The Rach 3. I couldn’t imagine 3 different songs, I found it terribly amusing.
I love Jane Austen. She is far and away my favorite author.
and the one that will probably win me the thread…
wait for it…
I own the “Fun and Flirty” edition of 13 going on 30. Damn thing smelled like bubblegum when I bought it. FYI, the girl at the counter was so impressed that I had the stones to buy it that I got a date out of it.
Piers Anthony. I read every completely predictable and totally juvenile panty-giggle-snort-SEX Xanth novel as soon as it hits the library. Twenty-eight books and counting, and the originality died on #5. And I’m still reading…
Are former drummers of speed metal bands allowed to like Kelly Clarkson (more than a little), and a tune or two by the Backstreet Boys, plus one Clay Aiken song? Didn’t think so, but I do. What can I say, I’m a sucker for good harmony.
Speaking of which, I will fight to the death anyone that questions Jeff Lynne or ELO, or even Chicago for that matter. Them’s fightin words. High pitched singing can be masterful, I submit most of Journey’s catalog.
The track on my MP3 player that I’d most hate to be discovered? Miles away by Winger is way up there, but Only Time by Enya has to top it. Like I said, I’m a sucker for harmonies, but that’s one of the least manliest songs in existence.
I enjoy ELO, but I’m not ashamed to admit it.
My main guilty pleasure would have to be Independence Day. I look forward to its airing every summer on HBO. They screened it at this summer festival last year here in Ann Arbor. It was a great moment for me.
To that I’ll add Pabst Blue Ribbon and the MTV show Next.
Teenage romantic comedies. Not even the grown up ones.
“Wild Things”.
Utter trash and lordy do I love that movie. A friend gave me a copy for my birthday. It’s the “summer beach book” of movies. It’s the cinematic equivalent of eating an entire tube of Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with a spoon.
I happen to think it’s well done and tons of fun, plus, y’know, Denise Richards getting mighty nekkid and Neve Campbell sorta participating. Yummy.
Excuse me, the DVD player is calling me
