Guitar players, post your guitar pics

Hmm. Link is to your website and a guitar review. Reported as spam.

Finally, a thread I can get into! I have an awesome Ibanez SZ-320 with a mahogany body / natural finish / EMG 81 85 + onboard clean boost.

But I’ve been thinking about getting one of these :D:D
Just kidding, but back to the SZ-320 - it’s the perfect guitar in my opinion. Mine is one of the original models, you can’t buy them new anymore. I bought it in 2004 and they stopped making them in 2008 (replaced by the SZRs…which don’t compare). Anyway, I love this guitar, nothing has ever come close to it.
Here’s a few pictures (imgur)

My PRS S2 Mira is my favorite electric guitar. The S2 is the mid priced line made in America. I was fortunate to buy mine in 2015. The current S2’s don’t offer the bird inlays as an option.

I updated my web page to show all my current gear.

It’s funny stumbling upon this nine year old thread. The Schecter C-1 Classic in squeegee’s original link on page one of this thread is now MY Schecter C-1 Classic, and I absolutely love the guitar. Thanks squeegee, wherever you are!

Here’s my exact model: http://www.schecterguitars.com/guitars/c-1-classic-detail

It’s really well made, with gobs of sustain and a lot of versatility. When paired with this amp: https://www.blackstaramps.com/uk/products/ht-studio-20 this DD-7 Boss delay pedal: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/DD7

Well, the cops have come. More than once. Gotta keep them windows closed!

I are right here! Glad you’re loving the axe.

Current fav girlfriends, PRS Custom 24, PRS CE 24, and my beloved 2008 AD Telecaster which I’ll never part with. I got rid of the Les Paul and AM Strat last year, they aren’t for me. Not pictured are about 6 other (lesser) guitars. It’s a disease.

very nice rosewood back and sides

I recently bought this Larrivee P-09 used. It’s about 3 years old.
It’s from their custom shop and has flamed maple.

plays great. I’m still getting used to holding the small parlor body

Here’s my current lineup.

This zombie has legs! Too funny.
The client I am at has a weird firewall, and I stink at maintaining pics anyway. These days, I have my two home-built Telecasters, one of which is the only electric I play. I still have my old acoustics - the '46 Gibson J-45, '30 Martin 0-21, and '29 Martin 00-21. As I have said many times here, I think old acoustics sound better. I could see downshifting to newer guitars I could beat up more, but I am still learning from these, so not quite yet

I’m sure the old guitars might welcome a young whippersnapper amongst them WordMan:slight_smile: I’ll post pics when I get the chance.

If electrics are any indication, I figure out what works for me, upgrade to the best examples I can with those characteristics, learn from them for a few years, then build something that embodies everything I know I want. I doubt I’ll build an acoustic, but I could see ordering a model from a factory or a small, reasonably priced shop with my desired features.

Oooh, nice dragon hoards everyone! I kind of collect old cheapies that catch my eye…

My favorite acoustic of mine, Gibson B-15. Plays and sounds lovely.

My favorite electric to play, a quirky little Teisco ET-320. It simply fits my personal ergonomics perfectly.

My fave hollowbody electric to play, Teisco EP-8T. Rather common, but this one somehow survived the years in perfect condition and playability.

You’re the effing man! And let me say this: that green PRS-24 is a really good looking guitar. I wish I had money to spend on a guitar collection…I’d be the Jay Leno of guitars.

Since I have what may be a terminal medical condition, one day I wish i could just put a 4x12 cabinet in each window of my apartment, facing outwards and powered by something like a Boogie Triple Rectifier and just wail for a few minutes. You know, leave my mark on my senior citizen neighbors. I am certain they will really enjoy it…

NIce!I’m guessing you use the Peavey for building demolition when you get the volume up a bit?

My little conservatory:

  • Casio CTK-611 - which helps me keep rhythm and allows me to pretend I’m a piano player.
  • The acoustic is a Rogue RD80. The only thing I know about it is that it was on sale at Guitar Center for $80.
  • My main axe is Big Blue (though it looks black in the pic). It’s a First Act Delia, semi-hollow body, double humbuckers. It’s the one signature series guitar that First Act makes, as far as I know. It’s nice. Plays like velvet.
  • The Fender Tele is my spare, only because it isn’t mine. It belongs to my band-mate, who carries bass duties.
  • Fender Front Man amp. 100 watts. Solid state. I have another one just like at our practice space.
  • Pedal bank is a Line 6 POD H300. I got it cheap a couple of years ago at Guitar Center because the adapter input on the back was effed. I got my dad to rig it up for me and it’s perfect. Well, it was perfect. I think I need to crack it open and blow some dust out or something. The foot-switches keep accidentally double-tapping on me - or they occasionally don’t switch at all.

That Peavey Windsor was a monster. 120 watts of pure tubes. They were discontinued at Guitar Center and sold off for $399.

Yes, $399 and you think I was going to pass that up?

Sweet! Put that out through FGiE’s open windows. That’d get his neighbor’s attention.

I have a busy weekend: my current drummer buddy’s wife is away, so we will play some loud obnoxious rock. Tele > Blackstone MOSFET overdrive > Tweed Deluxe replica. Then, my old drummer has a window of time with his drums here, before he moves back to the U.K. (Long story; great for him) We are going to rock the fuck out. He’s likely playing this Bonham-sized Sonor kit (size in diameters, not number of drums. He likes a simple kit. This one’s louder than bombs). Tele > Blackstone > some wonderful old tube amp he has lying around, like this big Traynor or an Ampeg Gemini. This is going to be fun.

Warm up with Stones. Some old Aerosmith. More Stones. Talking Heads. Bowie. Zep. Yay.

I envy you. I love to play but can’t do it.
