Guitarists Fender Custom Painted Acoustic

Hey guys and chicks:)

I was in a pawn shop today and hanging on a wall was a Fender acoustic painted in a kind of aqua with a beach scene that included one of those Easter Island heads. The guy wanted $450.00 for it and I liked it (not only for the scene, but it plays well too).

We were in a hurry, so dummy me didn’t ask what model it was, but I do remember it has the classic Fender head.

So before I put it on lay-a-way I wanted to check its true price, but all I found was a Jimmy Dale Unlucky 13, wrong head and $300.00.

Does anyome know this guitar and its model number?

Wow, totally not ringing a bell, although I’m more of a solid body guy than acoustic. And Fender is very much more a solid body shop than acoustic. Are you sure the paint job was factory, not custom?

Google “Fender Moai Madness”. From what I can tell, $450 is reasonable. Only 600 of them made.
