Gun experts: Glock 23 and 32 magazine question.

I just bought a Glock 32, which is chambered in the relatively new .357 Sig caliber. Now, the way I understand it, the .357 Sig is essentially a .40 S&W necked down to .357.

If that’s the case, does anyone know if a magazine from a Glock 23 (.40 s&w) will work in the 32? I don’t have a .40 Glock mag to test it with, but I did just confirm that a .40 round fits perfectly into the .357 magazine.

Thanks in advance!

Guns are bad, mmkay? ;j

Wow. Usually gun questions get at least one answer before someone tries turning it into a great debate.

Thanks for the well thought out and helpful response…

Yes. You can also convert the 32 to .40 by dropping in a 23 .40 S&W barrel.

      • No, guns are fun. Why, just yesterday I ordered scopes for both my handguns–a mount and red-dot for a Ruger MkII, and a 2X field scope for a Smith & Wesson .17HMR. -I decided I was bored with iron sights. Woo hoo!!!
  • But anyway, I dunno. Try here:

Thanks for the answers! Oh, and DougC, thanks for the link. That’s a great message board.

I’m fast to the trigger me.

Think yourselves lucky that your government is required to treat you as responsible adults with this issue, here in the UK they seem to think that they can prevent crime by stopping gun ownership.

This is General Questions not Great Debates. The question has been answered, so I’m going to close this. Anyone who wants to debate Gun policy is invited to Great Debates.
