That font was used in some game, and the Metal Storm logo looks exactly like a game developer’s logo, I just can’t remember which! The poster looks more like a game screenshot than a robot advertisement.
Well, both Sierra Entertainment and Electronic Arts (old logo) have similar, “raster” style of logos.
As for the title, “chrome” look was quite popular in old days, but it sure rings some bells. I’ll do some research. I don’t know why it somehow awoken memories of Psygnosis and Team 17 games… Maybe my subconsciousness is trying to tell me something.
I think you’re on the right track. Maybe it was Sierra, but I swear I’ve seen that exact logo before.
And the font was definitely used on some game, I want to say it was military themed but sort of arcade-ish.
