We still haven’t hear from the OP about what “questions” might be asked.
It’s a European men’s carry-all!
It probably has a concealed handgun hiding inside. You know those 50+ year old guys with fanny packs? They’ve got guns too.
Its my coworker and I dont have any issues with him…just some of the chatter I hear said about him carring a bag. Just had my curiosity up
It’s a satchel. Indiana Jones carries one.
I carry a small bag so I can have a good camera, some medicines, and other miscellaneous items on hand. I don’t really give a damn that some weird social standard says “Is it bigger than a wallet? Is it smaller than a book bag? Then you DON’T HAVE A PENIS!!! HAHAHA!!! You aren’t a MAN!!” Quite dumb.
And yes, I have got some “murse” ribbing. Maybe I do have a murse. But you are the one who has the stupid George Constanza wallet and you never have a camera when there is just the perfect picture to be taken.
I’ve never understood why men -don’t- carry purses. They’re just too damn useful.
A few months after Littlest Miss was born, my husband saw the light, and went shopping for the manliest bag he could find. It’s camouflage, it’s from the military surplus store, it has a pistol pocket! But I still joke with him about his purse…
Truth be told, this was supposed to be his version of a diaper bag, but it has morphed into something that operates pretty much like my own purse: it holds his keys and money clip, pens, gum, telephone, medicine and first aid supplies (a small kit for humans, and another for canines,) plus diapers, wipes, snacks, and spare set of clothes. Plus there’s the pistol pocket, which generally just holds spare ammo, since he carries on his person. A couple of Tony’s colleagues made fun of the purse/Daddy bag at first, but now at least one or two of them have their own - it’s pretty handy to just grab and go instead of rounding up supplies for pockets, diaper bags, etc.
Satchel/messenger bag/laptop bag is okay.
There are fob asians at the college I work at who wear straight up dainty women’s purses. They aren’t gay, they just don’t care at all about masculinity. I am very queer friendly but I can’t quite put my finger on why straight guys who are so flaming annoys me as much as it does, maybe because they are gaming the system or something.
I have a murse, didnt even know they were called that.
Ive always wondered why its considered so gender specific as well.
I’d be glad he had a purse. When I was younger, half the time my purse had more of my husband’s stuff in it than mine.
So does anybody think there is a limit to:: COLOR,SIZE,STYLE:D
Please post a warning before linking to photos like that. There are some things that you can’t “unsee”.
Um…what part of Iggy Pop and dressed like a woman wasn’t clear?
Why not? Fear of terrorist attacks?
I don’t because I generally dont need much. I have my keys, cigarettes, lighter, phone and wallet. All of which easily fits in my pockets.
Which gives you bulges in all the wrong places.
Only a women would think that
Really not that much. I find it easier to have everything on my person and not have worry about remembering to pick up a bag. Although I do carry one when I have more stuff that I need that day, which really isn’t often.
Actually, I think it’s an attempt to keep the crowded hallways at class change times from being that much more crowded by the additional volume of a gazillion loaded-to-the-max backpacks.
