About every three months or so. I tend to get it clippered rather short, and it looks fine longer, so both are acceptable. It isn’t until it starts curling and my hardhat doesn’t fit anymore that I’ll go back in.
My stylist is amused by this, but then she thinks everybody’s hair looks better with gel, mousse, or other “product” in it, too. If there’s a S.O. in my life at haircut time, they get an opinion, but not a vote on the matter.
My alopecia aerota made a comback a couple of months ago, so I’ve been postponing my usual trip to the barber shop until the bald spots fill back in. I’ll probably go to one of the neighborhood’s several old-school Italian-American barbers sometime next weekend.
Whenever I get to the point where, whenever I look in a mirror, I think, “I could really use a haircut!”
Which is usually every couple of months. Probably not quite as often as I should, but it’s one of those “when I get around to it” kinds of things.
Lately, the price of a haircut at the barber I go to (I’m not nearly metrosexual enough for a [exaggerated French accent]salon[/exaggerated French accent]) is $9 (plus I give a $2 tip).
Once every two months or so. Small-town barber, $8. My girlfriend likes my hair short, I like it somewhat shaggy, so we compromise with short for a month, shaggy for a month. My hair grows incredibly fast.
After getting a haircut, I trim my beard down to stubble to match.
Wow… I’m clearly the outlier here. I get my hair cut once a month or so, and pay about $30 for the privilege. I find that I get a much more consistent cut now than when I was paying $15 per cut. Also, it’s more entertaining for me, as the stylists are attractive women instead of overweight men.
I usually get my hair cut once every four months or so. Though the last time I went about seven months. I’ve got the shaggy hipster hair look so I had to grow it out. I pay about $17 including tip.
The girlfriend likes it long so it works out well.
Every six weeks. I also get my eyebrows waxed, because I absolutely can’t go any longer than that without my horrible mega super unibrow growing back in.
Twice in the past year and a half, and the last was just a trim. About $15-20. My wife’s say in it is that when she gets to the point where she’s just about to go nuts, I’ll get a trim.
Every two weeks. We’re on 9/80 so every other Friday I’ll go to SportClips midmorning when it’s routinely empty, watch a sports show, read a car magazine and be out in 20 minutes for $14 and a 5 spot tip.
