Guys: How often does a lap dance end in orgasm?

OK, that makes sense 3-5 minutes would need some additional circumstances to explain an orgasm.

Adam Corolla ranted about this subject years ago on the LoveLine radio show. Basically, he was equally astonished to learn that apparently some men (likely the very young and premature ejaculators) were capable of achieving orgasm from a lap dance. He rightfully speculated that the percentage of men capable of this was very low. He then went on to hypothesize about the state of prostitution if more men possessed this ability. Essentially, the result would be cheap, legal, and safe prostitution - and wouldn’t it be nice if every john only had to pay a cover charge and a dance fee and run their shorts through the laundry.

I saw an episode of G-String Divas on HBO where the stripper apparently got the guy off from a regular, fairly brief, lap dance. She seemed pretty surprised and grossed out about it. That makes me think that, while it may happen to guys with light triggers, it is by no means the goal of a lap dance, and the dancers aren’t trying to make it happen.

Have you ever gone to a club and one of your buddies gets like 5 lap dances in a row? 'nough said.

If nothing else, it kind of puts the kibosh on the revenue stream from a guy who over the course of the night would be willing to call her back over for five or six more.

A friend of mine (no, really) tells me that some men will wear lubricated condoms inside-out in order to reach orgasm from the sort of grinding that one can often expect at strip clubs. I suppose these guys would pop (hehe) for the longer VIP dances upstairs rather than just the lap dance for one song on the couch in the back of the room.

I think men who go to strip clubs on a regular basis do it more for the “emotional contact” (fake as it may be) rather than the sex itself.

To add my thoughts on the subject, of course a dancer’s goal isn’t for the man to have an orgasm, because that would mean he’s done, and she won’t get any more money from him. Her goal would be to keep him turned on enough for him to agree to “just one more song”, at, say, $10-$20 (can’t remember how much it was… it’s been that long ago) per song.

Long a theory of mine. “Hey, that pretty girl was just attentive and nice to me! That never happens anywhere else!”

To answer the title question, a lapdance has never ended in an orgasm for me. And, I’ve received my fair share of lapdances. The same could be said for my friends and most other guys I have talked to about it.

First of all there generally isn’t sex.

Second, I’m pretty sure both your theories are incorrect for most men in the clubs. It’s more of a male ego escapist thing. They want to roll up with their boys, throw some money around and hang with a bunch of hot Russian girls who won’t give any lip. These are your more high end NYC clubs though. We used to go to clubs back in college out in rural PA and the dudes in there where pretty darn scary weird.

Aww, 'cause see, I think the funnest part of hanging out with random dudes in bars/clubs is saying the most outrageous crap I can and getting away with it. Of course, they never seem to mind much either. Hmm.

Oh I agree (if I understand you correctly). I’d much rather have an innane conversation with real people I meet in a bar than have some striper try to have a “deep” conversation with me in her broken Ukrainian accent in an attempt to get me to spend some cash on her.

That doesn’t sound very credible. You put one on while erect. Then you go limp while driving to the club, paying the cover, getting seated, etc. The lubricated condom bunches up. If you start to get erect again, the odds of the condom correctly unrolling are pretty slim. The odds of a pubic hair getting caught in the condom are very high.

You may be right, and in any case it’s a FOAF story. My experience with condom use is pretty minimal and more like the scene from The 40 Year Old Virgin than anything else, and I haven’t had either the courage or the inclination to try that trick at a club myself.

I suppose someone could circumvent the problems you mention with viagra and/or a well-timed trip to the men’s room, though. On the other hand, if it were a common and effective practice, someone else in this thread probably would have come across, er, heard of, it too.

IME… never… so far… I feel that more rigorous experimentation may be needed before achieving a definitive answer.

I used to go to strip clubs and I’ve had a number of lap dances. I never had an orgasm during any of them. Not even that time in St Catherines when two strippers performed a live twenty minute lesbian sex show on my lap.

 Is St short for Saint?

You were in Saint Catherines experiencing a lesbian sex show? :dubious:

Yes.

To clear up any confusion this is the Saint Catharines I’m talking about. It’s a small blue-collar city in southern Ontario.

You mean you’ve just now figured this out?
