Having had literally hundreds of lap dances, my scorecard reads something like this: Erection? Usually. Orgasm? Never.
In the USA, 0%. In Mexico, well, that stays in Mexico.
I should imagine that’s typical. However, given the plethora of writing out there on premature ejaculation, you can see that the exceptions are probably pretty plentiful, which probably says a bit about SP.
I suppose that you think that using quote markes exempts you from that rule. Don’t think so! You’re on the list, PunditLisa! You’ll never be taken seriously around here again!
Oh, crap. QUOTE tags don’t work either. NOOOO! I’ve been coochified!
Back on topic: I have to admit I’ve never had a lap dance, or even been to a strip club. But I’m having a hard time imagining that this is particularly common … I mean, really? :dubious:
I’ll admit to having had lap dances, but never the full biological resolution therefrom. I’ve never suffered from PE either, though. Food for thought.
ETA: Think of it like BDSM. If you’re not into the scene, it seems like it must be horribly rare. If you know some people who ARE into the scene, you realize that it’s not nearly as rare as you might think.
Damn! Befallen by my own scruples!
You must consider the topic. If the statement was:
I’d suspect their credibility, too.
I danced topless for about 4 years back in the day and while I can imagine this happening in the sleazier clubs, or in states with more lax laws, it didn’t happen (at least not regularly) at the clubs I worked at. We weren’t allowed to have physical contact while doing table dances (they were not called lap dances).
No need. Some of the clubs in NYC actually have a sushi bar and serve what I’ve been told isn’t a half bad steak and other food.
Actually they are just regular guys…with issues.
But the guy’s point wasn’t to get a meal. He was doing it to break out of the routine
I was just making a joke about the stereotype.
I don’t know about the prevalence or otherwise of it happening. I have been to a strip club twice, and did get a (kind of) private lapdance in my living room once (that’s a whole 'nother story of balls out glory)…
BUT
I couldn’t think of anything worse than walking home with sticky, gooey cold pants…personally I would much rather get some self love than go through such discomfort…
Yeah, well, good luck dancing in your own lap.
Why would the management of these places encourage “happy endings”? It is bad for business-the satisfied client is less likely to keep spending money.
Um, repeat business?
depending on recovery period, sometimes even on the same night!
I’ve noticed that a lap dance is always better when the stripper is crying.
Do y’all hang out in my living room or something? I was just asking the Other Shoe about this last night. Being a girl, I wouldn’t know, but I always thought lap dances seemed … frustrating. To get riiiiiight there but not actually come? Fuck that noise. I asked him about it, and he just shrugged. Strip clubs never have been his thing. I guess maybe if they are your thing, it’s not so frustrating.
Getting pizzas delivered isn’t all that non-routine at strip clubs. I delivered them when I was a pizza delivery driver, and we ordered them regularly when I was a dancer.
Yeah, but business is booming for the escorts at the bar downstairs!
