Guys: Is TV chef Anne Burrell attractive?

Knowing my Mama, if I told her I was bringing a TV celebrity chef home she’d enquire whether it was either Clarissa Dickson Wright or Jennifer Paterson.

Padma Lakshmi

Laura Calder on French Food at Home.

Nadia G on Bitchin Kitchen.

I’d bring them home to Mom. My wife might understand. I think she’d be more understanding with Laura though.

Gregorio, do you know the name of that style of music that they play in the background on Laura’s show? It’s sort of a Django Reinhardt-jazz-bistro-swing-Triplets of Belleville thing.

I’ll say just one thing about Paula Dean-ever notice that in her picture on any of those checkout counter type magazines, that she is never smiling with her eyes? Just kinda gives me a Stepford Wives kind of vibe. <shudder>

Anne B. too big for my tastes. Giada and Nigella? Hell yes.

I suppose… if the category is chicks who were formerly dudes.

I have never seen this woman on TV, but from her pictures I would agree with some of the other posters that she gives off a gym teacher vibe.

Who cares about dates. Taking to bed is it. Anne Burrell? No way. Ugh. A future Paula

Ingrid Hoffman - si senor, de seguro y con gusto. dos, tres veces.

Rachael, Giada - maybe if I were really bored. And I didn’t have to listen to them. But they would have to ask me very, very, nicely. Definitely would not spend the night, and won’t call them. By the way, I think the reason Giada looks so funny is that they use a wide angle lens in the kitchen, and tend to center on her nose

Sandra Lee - it would be like screwing a Barbie doll, so I guess that’s a yes. But I would piss all over her bathroom and leave everything a mess.

The Spice Goddess? Yes, maybe even willing to buy her a beer.

No, she’s ugly.

Quite ugly.

Vote #2 for Nadia G

No she is not attractive.

Rachel Ray is attractive yes. She’s the only one.

Not even a little bit, no.

Well, first I’d say that none of them are ugly, but very few TV people are. On the other hand they all aren’t gorgeous either. Burrell doesn’t do anything for me. That stupid haircut probably doesn’t help. Also blond hair is such a strong turn-off for me that I wouldn’t take a second look at her unless she changed her hair color.

Of all the women listed so far only Nigella does it for me. In fact I find her looks and her sensual attitude almost too distracting to watch. Does any straight man watch “Nigella at Home” for the cooking?"

Nigella Lawson’s the one. In fact, she’s one of the sexiest women on TV in any format.

Both of these two women are really, really attractive.

I also think that Katie Brown is a stealth-hottie; she is a little bit on the chunky side, which for some reason makes her even more desirable.

I don’t know, but I like it. I like a lot about that show.

I’d never have sex with Sandra Lee. She’d probably want you to get a store-bought penis, sprinkle some lube on it, and present it as your own.

All I know of Anne Burrell is the picture in the OP, and based solely on that, I’d have to say that she does absolutely nothing for me. She’s not ugly, mind you, but I can’t really say she’s hot, either.

For whatever reason, though, most of the other TV chefs seem to be unusually hot, even by celebrity standards. Nigella Lawson, in particular, looks fantastic for a 30-year-old, despite being over 50.

Unfortunately, she really wouldn’t be into you.

And to answer the OP, I have to second Aarti. I find her cute and attractive. Of course I have a wife and she has a husband, so my plans of dating her aren’t happening any time soon. :frowning:

You really have to see Ann in action. She is very high energy and carries on a steady stream of patter. One of the things I asked was whether her patter is clever and cute or really annoying. It’s not the functional, informative chatter that most TV chefs do. I mean, it’s informative, but she also says sweet nothings to the food and uses some phrases unique to her. You know how Guy Fieri has a whole set of expressions (except he’s talking to someone and Ann works alone)? Hard to describe. I don’t know whether I like it or can’t stand it. She’s more loving and engaging than Rachael, who is friendly but distant IMHO. Actually she is like a female Guy Fieri. I dunno.
