Not to kick this discussion back into a serious look at Mr Bush’s possible condition, but that article supports my wife’s observations that Bush betrays the mannerisms of one addled by years of liquor and drugs. One is never the same after that and I can see how the lack of a treatment and support system specific to the condition, as would’ve been provided by AA, might leave an alky with a recovery that was even less complete.
