There was an episode where Tweak had a bunch of gnomes stealing his underwear, but nobody believed him. Some stuff happened that I don’t remember and they ended up in the gnomes hideout. They explained their profit plan as follows:

1.) Steal Underpants
2.) ???
3.) Profit

As for using “Profit” as the new #3 on lists to avoid overused SDMB cliches, I like it. It has a beat and you can dance to it.

Well, I like your username anyway :D. Very neat. I didn’t get the reference to “hack her to death with a kitchen knife”, but I liked in for it’s sick “frog in a blender” type humor.

I missed all the “hi Opal” threads that started the trend, so I never did it. But I don’t think folks that use an in joke are some sort of nonthinking dullards that can’t think of anything on their own. IMHO, it’s just a silly bit of camaraderie. sheesh, lighten up folks.
