I’m so very sorry. My heart breaks for you. I’ve known that pain a number of times in the past.

Thanks. I have three cats buried on the side of my house, well, one’s my mom’s, so this isn’t new, but having Peaches put down has made me sadder than the others for some reason.
Our last dog was too big to bury, so I had him cremated and we have his ashes. It was my wife’s idea, but she can’t bring herself to look at the urn.
I’m having the same thing done for Peaches.
We have a 14 or 15 year old cat. Other than being overweight he seems just fine, but due to his age I’m guessing he’ll be the next to go. I’m not looking forward to that.
So very sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is the hardest thing in the world to me. Rest well, sweet Peaches.
Treat yourself gently. Even when it’s the right, kindest, best thing it’s a really hard thing. Sorry for your loss.

So very sorry!! We lost one about 1.5 years ago, my only regret is she passed at the vet after 3 days. We thought we were doing all we could to try to help her, but I don’t think I’ll ever get over feeling like she passed alone.
So sorry, Nobody. I know how hard it is from past experience, and dread it even though it’s a long way off for me (I hope). I’m wishing peace to both you and Peaches and hugging my boys extra hard right now.
