I do not own an I card.
I apologize, I got confused… but my original Offer #15 was for a V card, so
re-revised USCDiver Offer #15: for sachertorte, Your V card in exchange for viewing Rule 19
At this time it think it is unwise to give up letters for merely information, Especially the letter ‘V’ of which there are only two in the game.
sachertorte offer #10 to USCDiver: I will exchange the rare and apparently valuable ‘V’ for the letters ‘G’ and ‘E’
Accepted.
sachertorte, you might want to look at a couple more rules before you determine the value of rule 7.
Which do you want, a D or a B?
Ah, you’re going on relative value despite not having very much ‘mere information’ (this whole game is about information, man!). You’ll also notice that there are only 2 people that own Rule 19, so it’s relative value is the same as for V Card. But I understand your reluctance to give up cards for which you don’t know the value, I had the same thought earlier in the game (ie yesterday).
What I’d most like is enough of a brain to do acceptances correctly. Do you have one of those?
Anyway, I noticed that your offer isn’t done correctly either (no numbering) so if I understand the rules it’s not valid. Please make a numbered offer offering me a D for an F and we’ll be in business!
Well duh.
I’m starting today where everyone else was yesterday.
Your assertion that rule 19 has the same relative value because only two people have rule 19 and only two people have the letter V is flat out WRONG. There are only two ‘V’ cards in the game. Multiple people can ‘know’ the contents of rule 19 and they do. Showing a rule doesn’t really cost the revealer a whole lot. Giving up a letter is a lost tangible asset. This should be obvious.
If you are so keen for information over assets:
sachertorte offer #11 to USCDiver: I will show rule #20 in exchange for the letter ‘G’.
Heh. I’m sure Priceguy would like everyone to think Rule 7 is not important. Truth is, to many it’s not. But to those with whom Priceguy is trying to trade, they would do well to know the contents of rule 7 first. I stand by my assertion. If Dragoness feels our trade was unfair or misrepresented, she should state so publicly.
Kay then.
Dragoness offer #7: For Priceguy, a D in exchange for an F. I guess we must be formal, eh?
Say, Priceguy, what would you like for your Y? If I’ve kept track right, you’re still short rule #4. Perhaps Dragoness offer #8: A look at rule 4 and a P card for his Y?
Why of course not! You’d make a great salesman though What sort of deal were you hoping to get for your V?
Before my edit window goes, I’d better say Withdraw offers 4 and 6. They’re a couple pages back, but it’s best to be careful.
Accepted.
Also accepted.

And thanks to everybody who handled their own trades while I was visiting with family this aft. Everything looks kosher as far as I can tell from here. sachertorte, Dragoness, I missed the accept on the rule 5-rule 7 trade the first time, but when I reread the thread I found it - green sometimes isn’t as easy to pick out as I’d hope, oh well. Maybe we can^D^D^D
No, the lime is even harder, on preview.
Priceguy offer #6: I offer NAF1138 an F card and an N card for a C card and a U card.
Hmmm. I may have made a brainfart when I traded that Y card. Dragoness, anything you’d like for it? Rules 2 and 16 are still unknown to you.
Why Priceguy, you’re giving up your N? Dragoness offer #9: Priceguy’s N for a D or a B.
Naah, but see previous post.
Sorry Priceguy… by my calculations, that Y makes… well, a huge difference. I don’t think I can ditch it unless new information comes to light.
I certainly do have information about that Y, but showing you that before getting the Y would mean taking a huge risk. Serves me right for not thinking, I guess. Let me know if you change your mind.
