One note of clarification. This is a blind auction, and there is no auto-increment logic like you’d have in an ebay auction. Therefore, if the high bidder bids 20 for a particular item, and the next highest bidder was 4, the winner still pays 20 points in an IOU.
And in any case where Gadarene’s estate holds more than one of the same type of item, for instance the red conversation hearts, do let me know how many of them you’re interested in bidding on, and if the bid will change after you win a certain number.

I’ve sent in my bid but I just want to say that I don’t like these auctions we do one almost every game and it seems that one person comes out way ahead of the field every time.

Well, almost every time at least one player can’t hack the Haggle. Can you think of a better way to keep the dropouts from locking up the game?
One more clarification - each item will be auctioned off seperately. Any bids that are for more than one item, for instance, specifying a single price for ‘both white roses’, will be disregarded if not followed by a clarification in terms of how to bid on the seperate items.
No, I can’t and I realize why you guys do it but it’s frustrating as a player. I don’t know anything about how you’ve designed the game but I wonder how locking the items would affect things or if we can make this a regular thing maybe we could have sub list where they can step in and take over for a player.
I don’t mean it a a complaint at you and Meeko and I hope you don’t take it that way since I can only imagine how hard you guys have to work to keep up.
