Haha, North Korean rocket crashes and burns within one minute of takeoff

The thread is about North Korea, not the reporting.

And this just in…New York responds to failed rocket launch! “Fuhgeddaboutit!” says New York.

I just want to state, for the record, that the story was not reported on the front page of The New York Times yesterday; however, the story was reported on the front page of The New York Times today. I don’t give a shit about New York Edition, Late Edition, National Edition.

You are right, Zebra!

And so also a prophet Zebra is.

Not when there is reporting like this. Come on, it’s a funny photo in a serious newspaper.

The New York Times comes in print now?

Yes.

Unlike the Revolutionary People’s Times and Asswipe, which didn’t report it at all:

WEll, it seems that Obama’s policy of making nice to NK has been a failure.
Why not stop the food aid? If the Chinese are so concerned, let them take over.
By propping up this distatorship, we are enabling it to survive, which is not a good thing.

An emaciated population is in no position to depose a dictator.

Why not read the news?
US stops food aid to NK.

Perchance you’re confusing Kozmik—resident nutcase harasser of old men in waiting rooms—with Commisar, dearly departed nutcase fanboy for the glorious people’s revolution?

Perhaps R.P. McMurphy is just confused:

What’s with those silly ass over sized hats that Commies wear?

Better hair than their Exalted Leader and it’s a capital offense for it to show.

And they can use them as tents if they have to sleep outside.

How clueless can one person be?

There are so many things wrong with this, it boggles the mind. It’s like peering into the mind of somebody from bizarro world railing against liberal policies of deliberately hiring crack whores for TSA airport screening positions and wondering why Democrats don’t just directly hire those crack whores to cut their lawns instead of offering amnesty to illegal immigrants. No part of that makes sense, and no part of this makes sense.

“Policy of playing nice”, really? What exactly have we done that’s different than our policy over the last 10 years?

The Chinese? You think they actually want North Korea? They don’t want that shithole. They just want a buffer state. They actually want a stable North Korea. Having a bunch of insane wackos threaten nuclear war actually goes against their national interests. But they figure that’s just slightly better than a North Korean collapse with subsequent US supported Korean state on its borders. Maybe you disagree, but you can take that up with the Chinese foreign policy people.

Food aid? We announced resumption only if North Korea played nice. Well, that didn’t happen. They haven’t gotten a single grain of rice out of us. What food aid are you blathering about?

This cracks me up, because there is a difference under Obama. Under Bush and under Clinton before him, we would make a deal, give those sons o’ bitches food, and they would renege. The most famous example is the goddamn nuclear test in 2006 after Bush gave the bastards 40,000 tons of food in 2004. The difference under Obama is that we never actually gave them anything. We promised them food if they behaved themselves. Obama promised it to North Korea, but wanted some more concrete evidence they were complying with international sanctions. They didn’t, so fuck 'em. We never actually delivered anything. From the Los Angeles Times::

So you are pretty much wrong there. Obama hasn’t given them jack shit. Bush did though.

In the words of R.P. McMurphy, you are so wrong.

The New York Timesstory on the reporting:

Really, Kozmik? That’s how you respond to my post citing that Obama hasn’t given North Korea food aid? You’re more stupid than ralph.

I was responding to this post.

You’re more stupid than ralph, and that’s saying something.

Sit down and shut up.
