Hair. A shameless plea for help from the ladies.

You have gotten some good suggestions. Let me agree with whoever it was that suggested headbands. There are tons of them that you can buy and they’ll keep your daughter’s hair out of her face. I guarantee she won’t be scarred for life or teased because she wore a headband.

Braiding her hair would be better if you can learn how. It’s really easy and with a little practice it’ll look nice. Forget french braids and other fancier braids for now. Practice just a simple 3-strand braid. If your daughter’s hair is long and one length even a bad braid will hold up.

Please, please use something on her hair when you comb it out. Combing through dry hair is a pain especially with tangles so it’s better to comb it out when it’s wet. If you can’t find a detangler in your store, I sometimes but a little conditioner in a spray bottle and dilute it with water. That will definitely make combing her hair a lot easier.
