We recently had a small fire and had to get everything cleaned due to the soot. It seems the cleaners did something to my television, because while the bottom half is normal, the top half is a completely different color. The upper right hand corner is a different color from both the the bottom and the top.
I know nothing about televisions, so I thought they might have spilled something down the back.
My father says they must have dropped it and jarred the magnets in the back out of alignment.
My brother says they must have set a magnet on it, causing the off corner.
The picture comes through fine and it looks like it might be easily fixable … if I knew what was wrong with it.
