Am I the only one NOT surprised? When I saw the coming attractions, I couldn’t help but laugh.
I’m not real surprised, because H20 did make some money, I think. I guess it must have, else they wouldn’t be releasing this one, huh?
I hate the idea that Laurie Strode is going to die in this one. I loved the last one. I thought it was a great ending. I wish they weren’t putting out this one.
starring in this sequel? I mean, I can’t imagine she needs the money & I also can’t imagine that she viewed this role as some sort of creative challenge, so what’s the deal?
It doesn’t surprise me that JLC is in the flick at all.
I mean seriously, we all have a soft spot for her (a soft spot that was put to its test by those F$%&ing cell phone ads), but lets face it. master thespian she ain’t. Shes always done schlocky, B or B+ level mostly fun stuff. And she can’t have THAT much dough, or why was she doing cell phone ads?
Makes perfect sense to me.

They’re making another one? How does one come back from the ending in H20? More importantly, is Josh Harnett in it?
Funny, I heard somewhere that JLC agreed to do H20 only if the M. Meyers character was killed for good. Though, IIRC, sequels 4 and 5 featured his niece that had some sort of mind link with her big bad uncle. And didn’t number 6 have some mysterious man in winged tipped boots (that’s all you saw) that busted him out of jail and enabled more rampaging throughout the movie? Apparently Michael’s got a sidekick (or successor). Don’t know if I’ll watch the movie to find out. Maybe if it uses the original Carpenter theme…
