As you may, or may not know, the Hampton Roads (Norfolk, Va.) Chapter of SDMBers will be meeting and raising Hell tonight at the 2nd Street Tavern in lovely Hampton, Va.
Meet time is 1900-1930.
GBS & I’ll be dining there.

The person I spoke with from the restaurant didn’t know the exit
number. Looking at my map, I think it’s exit # 267. The road is
called Settler’s Landing Rd. Look for and follow the signs for
Hampton University and the Va. Air & Space Center. Falcon, you’ll
be turning right at the end of the off-ramp(turning southwards).
The rest of us from the Southside will hang a left. Once on
Settler’s Landing, bear somewhat to the right, i.e., don’t go into
the Hampton University campus. We go over a small body of water
on a high bridge and come out in downtown Hampton. The Air &
Space Museum is straight ahead. At the 1st light after the
bridge, take a right on Eaton St. Go one block and the 2nd Street
Tavern is on your left, on the corner of E. Queen St. and Eaton.
It’s a good-sized white granite government-looking building (
Falcon sez: “Oh, great!”). There’s parking out front and nearby,
but there’s one way streets and such , so once you get near it
you’re on your own. Their phone number is 722-6811. My wife &
I will be there around 7:00, unless the time gets changed. See
