My sister has her late husband’s Smith & Wesson Mod909 9mm pistol. It’s in excellent condition and lightly used.
I believe it’s from the late '90s. She’s curious what its original retail price was and what she might expect to sell it for today.

Here’s a S&W thread from 2008 on this very gun.
I’d think she could get $300 for it.
She can post it on http://www.armslist.com/ and find someone local to her to sell it.
Or, she could let the local police have a look; perhaps one of them would like an extra gun, and she can feel good about the sale to a cop.
Or have her meet the buyer at her local police department for extra added protection.
