I’m hoping that, being a Dyson, this one isn’t plagued by the lack of sucking that affects other cordless vacuums.
Someone got their hands on one early, and reports that it does indeed suck mightily, and is also nicely well-built.

Holy cow. That is one scary-lookin’ vacuum. All I can think about are the horror movie possibilities… pick your orifice and flip the “on” switch.

I hate to use this joke, but that really does look almost exactly like a 1920’s style death ray.
Target is shipping them in 2-6 weeks. This is good timing our Cordless Shark sucks badly. We needed a new portable. Best Buy is shipping it eventually but only $4.51 shipping cost. Both stores are listing $149.99.
