Happiness is......

…a warm blanket and a nice cup of hot chocolate.

…or perhaps it’s a nice cool breeze and a glass of iced tea.

. . . sharing a pencil. . .

and if you get that, you were a music or theater dork too.

Martinis, girls and guns.

Having a big purring cat kneading you with his paws.

(Yes, I haven’t had a cat since 2001, and I’ve missed mine and wanted another ever since, why do you ask?)

Lemon cake.

Unfortunately, I finished the last of the happiness after dinner tonight.

My laptop, a fast wireless connection in my hotel room, and a keylime pie.

Oh, and Internet Scrabble.

… a handjob by a girl with small, cool hands.*

*What?!? This is SDMB not a Peanuts comic.

…a warm gun.

That “special feeling” you get while driving down a steep hill at a fast clip. WooHOOOO!!!

Stopping back in to give the correct answer…

Happiness is a warm gun. Bang, bang. Shoot, shoot.

…Friday night, the couch, my daughter, a big blanket, and a good DVD. Maybe a cup of coffee. Cookies are good too, while we’re here.

Finding a pencil, I think. But the point is taken. We’ll share a sandwich sometime.

OK, I was a theater dork but I really don’t get this. Is it possible that I’m not as big a dork as I’ve always thought I was?

I see King of Soup has already made the correction, but I got it:D. Not only that, the song’s my signature on another board.

And happiness right now is being curled up in bed on a Saturday morning with the cats and ElzaHub under a warm blanket watching the History Channel.

And no morning sickness.

E.

Psst….You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.

Strangely enough first time I can recall ever winning anything was a phone in to radio station 2CA Canberra. The task was complete this phrase “Happiness is…”.

I rang up and said “impossible” and won a case of Coke. At the time neither I nor my brothers drank the stuff. So I was right.

Watching my dog happily act like such a dog on our walks through the woods.

Actually, it was the first professional show I saw on stage. I own the sheet music. I always saw myself playing Lucy.

And yes, this song was the first thing that came to mind.
