Ten things that make you happy (non-political)

My newsfeed is depressing as hell. As it probably should be, given all the current crapola, but still - it makes it hard to hang on.

Here’s a place where you can list things that make you happy. Please stay with the MPSIMS theme and avoid political things as much as you can.

Ten things that make me happy:

  1. Bears. Especially bear cubs.
  2. Punk versions of classic/classical songs.
  3. That little shy coy smile that Prince had, where he would look up under his lashes.
  4. Waking up next to Husband, turning over and kissing him till he wakes up and puts an arm around me, then going back to sleep.
  5. Scottish accents. They are hilarious and endearing.
  6. The glow that people get when they’re head over heels in love.
  7. Getting a joke that I heard a long time ago but didn’t understand, and which is actually hilarious.
  8. Ren Faire, and Faire music.
  9. Reading Rudyard Kipling poems aloud - the way they roll off the tongue is amazing.
  10. The smell of frying onions

How about you?

Baker, congratulations on Mauser – sounds like he’s working out well! I felt so bad with all you went through with Nathan, glad you’ve got a new little pal in your life to help cheer you up!

My little guy is Lewis. He’s a red mini, weighs in at 11 pounds. He’s 9 1/2 years old and going strong. Frisky as the dickens and smarter than me by leaps and bounds. He’s the heart of my house. I got him about a year after my husband died… first indoor dog and easily one of the best decisions I ever made.

I’m sure Mauser will be exactly the same for you!!
