I’m not even going near the two faced kitten…poor thing. Apparently that’s a specific genetic defect that happens in many animals (and in humans) - there was an article about it in New Scientist which featured pictures of a pig with two snouts.

That puppy is adorable, but I feel so sorry for the Janus-kitten. How is the poor thing going to eat?
I looked at the page with the other cat deformities, and something that struck me was the decsion by one of the owners to “let nature take its course.” Because the kitten couldn’t eat, it died after twenty hours.
It seems a bit cruel to me to let the poor thing lie there and starve to death. Shouldn’t he have taken it in to the vet’s office to have it put down in a humane fashion instead?

But for the record, that puppy is adorable! He sort of reminds me of Mr. Winkle (who, IMO, is a lot freakier.)
