I watched the ceremony tonight on Channel 1 - those soldiers look younger every year. They had a Haredi Jew light a torch this year, a first. That’s a good sign. Then I had a few beers and walked over to Rabin Square to see the fireworks. Tomorrow, BBQ at the in-laws. Looks of meat, more beer.
55 years, and still going strong. And to think, I’m young enough to look forward to the centennial. Yay!
