Reading my funnies this morning, I came across this charming little homage to the master storyteller.

At first, I thought “why does that art style look so familiar?” Then I remembered. “Oh, yeah, March 25.”

Also, happy National Read to Your Kids Day, or whatever they’re calling it now.

The good doctor’s birthday was actually March 2.

They do a whole week of activities in the school district where I live to celebrate his birthday.

The Cat in the Hat was the first book I ever read by myself. The guy was a true genius!
