Fifteen years ago today, mr. new and I went to the hospital to give birth to our second little girl. She came into the world in the middle of the afternoon, after a C-section delivery, weighing in a 10lbs. 6oz. The doctor pronounced her “nearly perfect”, and so she has believed herself to be, ever since! Little did I suspect that some day she would make me proud by becoming a Doper! So let’s all wish a happy 15th birthday to EtherealFreakOfPinkness. I’ve got the cake, confetti, and pointy little hats. Who wants to bring ice cream?

Well, I’d like to give an update, but things are still very much up in the air. Her pediatrician finally ordered a blood pregnancy test, which came up negative. But she’s still having all these symptoms, even insists she can feel the baby kicking! She has an appt. with an OB/GYN on Monday, who, among other things, will probably order a sonogram. More info as it’s available.

Thanks all, but now it’s over. Well, it’s sort of over. My parents have yet to give me my gift, and I still have things to do with some of my friends.
And just so you know, I’m not nearly perfect. I’m all perfect.
