It was 16 years ago today that I headed for GBMC hospital in Baltimore to give birth to my second daughter. At about 4PM, my doctor performed a C-section and delivered a happy (well, not really happy; really she was pretty pissed off about the whole thing), healthy 10lb 6oz. baby girl with curly brown hair and blue eyes.
She was a very, very cool kid. She didn’t speak until she was 3 (and hasn’t shut up since), but she is without a doubt one of the best things that’s ever happened to me.
Certainly, she’s not perfect (she must get that from her father), but she’s a great kid. Here, ten random facts about EtherealFreakOfPinkness:
She’s left-handed
When she was 9years old, she was tested for ADD, and the psychiatrist also did an IQ test. She tested at 119.
She’s a fan of Panic At The Disco
Rent is one of her favorite movies
She’s home schooled
She doesn’t post often, but she loves being a Doper
She’s recently discovered the wonders of Monty Python, and is currently looking for a T-shirt that says “It’s a flesh wound!”
She was introduced to the wonders of The Princess Bride at a tender 8years of age, and can quote the movie freely with the rest of them.
She’s a voracious reader, often reading up to three books at a time.
She’s one of the pickiest eaters I know
So, please join me in wishing EFOP a very, very happy 16th birthday!
