Geobabe, this seems like as good an opportunity as any to ask something I’ve been wondering about.

Do you pronounce your name Gee-oh, as in Geology?

Or Goo-ee, as in Geoduck?

They both seem equally plausible.

Bingo. The name comes from the nickname “geo-babes” given to geology majors at Smith; I liked it so much I adopted it as my screen name pretty much everywhere.
