TN*hippie, I read your thread about what happened on your birthday. That absolutely sucks, my friend. :frowning: One of my friends had a similar experience a couple of years ago: his girlfriend called him up on his birthday (of all days) and told him that she didn’t want to go out with him anymore. Basically, the only difference was that my friend turned 17 on that day. Not a good thing to happen any time, but especially on your birthday.

Geobabe, I wish you only supreme happiness with UncleBill, and the best of luck with your move to Florida. :slight_smile:

Why, thank you! It’s been a pretty good day. UncleBill took me out for my birthday dinner last night, so I don’t know if he has any other surprises up his sleeve for tonight. Heck, a quiet night with my sweetie without doing any unpacking would be a nice birthday present.

No problem at all, Geobabe! Actually, I was lucky to post the thread at all, since my keyboard decided to finally give up the ghost as I was about to make some final changes to the post before hitting “Submit.” So after I posted that, I went to the spare computer parts store known as My Brother’s House[sup]TM[/sup]. So thank goodness I now have a working keyboard and mouse. Now all I have to do is figure out why my speakers aren’t working… but I digress/hijack. I do hope your night went well, though.
