Violet Brown of Jamaica, celebrated a milestone birthday on March 10, 2017. She turned 117 and is presently the world’s second oldest living person. Violet is also the last surviving subject of Queen Victoria. While her age may not be a record in its own right, she shares an age record with her son, Harold Fairweather. Harold, born April 20, 1920 holds the world’s record for oldest person to have a living parent.
