Looking’ specifically at Leo Bloom, just because… you know… who is and all.
113th anniversary, this time around. I found a centennial thread (thanks Google) bud judged it wrong to resurrect it, 13 years on.

Whoa! When I read this, I thought “Gene Wilder can’t *possibly *have been born 113 years ago!”
Then I clicked on the link.
Well, hit me on the side of the head and call me stupid! I guess I’m literature-challenged! :smack:
Happy Bloomsday to those who celebrate!
It’s back again!
“Can’t bring back time. Like holding water in your hand.” ~ Leopold Bloom
Don’t look at me – I’ve never heard of him either. What did he write?
Gene Wilder, Mel Brooks, or James Joyce?
Three people who have never been in my kitchen!

Towards the end of the film, when Leo tries to turn himself in and use his accountant books as evidence, Max stops Leo on the way out the door and steals Leo's books, causing L...
Somewhat interesting: In The Tick cartoon series he fights a plant based villain named El Seed as he attempts to take over the world in an event he calls Bloomsday. I can’t decide which theory I like better. That it was a coincidence, or it was a reference.
I don’t know about the world, but he did take over Valencia. The coat of arms of Valencia has a bat on it. Need I say more?
Wouldn’t that mean it’s run by Batman?
Or Bacardi?
