Happy Easter to you! He is risen!
Happy Easter!
He is risen indeed.
You are the only one I have been able to give the traditional response all day. And it’s snowing rather hard. And for the first time in 64 years I was not able to go to church on Easter.
Traditions are taking it on the chin this year.
Regards,
Shodan
He is risen!
I seldom post on threads with religious topics because the scoffers often take over, but I’m glad I took a chance this time.
The Lord is risen indeed.
Atheist here, but happy Easter to all believers. Hope you’re able to have as good a holiday as possible, under the circumstances. No snow here in Georgia, but we’re braced for what’s supposed to be an extremely severe storm system rolling through overnight.
I’m not Christian, but I sing in an Episcopal church choir, and we had a boatload of inspiring sacred music lined up for this year. Oh well. I feel sad that Christians around the world were forced to miss out on the fellowship of sharing the intensely meaningful liturgy of Holy Week. I wish y’all an abundance of Easter joy and the hope that comes with it.
ETA: SNOW?? It’s almost 90 in South Texas and I have the a/c on.
Alleluia He is Risen!

He is risen indeed!
Christian here… seems so weird that Easter’s been “cancelled” and we get a winter storm.
What? Nobody had a happy Good Friday?
Christos Voskrese!
Voistinu Voskrese!
I spent about five hours over two days patching together music from our minister and organist, readings, and our carillon into an online version of the Easter service our church had hoped to have.
Happy Easter!
Alleluia, he is risen indeed!
I’ve been away all day and was wondering what I’d find here when I returned. We are in quite a minority here. I’m glad to see such greetings and fellowshipping and goodwill here.
My church is doing YouTube services, complete with Holy Communion. It’s BYOH and BYOW, but it works (that’s host and wine — for Easter service my host today was a broken piece of tortilla chip). Afterwards we follow with a Zoom fellowship time where we just chat. Video is optional, you don’t have to show your face, but many do).
It’s nice to see others again. One friend is an elderly lady who is losing her mobility. The last time I saw her was when I visited her in the hospital about 5-6 weeks ago.
Happy Easter, all!
I thought that was pretty funny.
Watched our church services on Facebook live today. Very strange celebration of the resurrection indeed. I don’t actually mind the at-home mandate, until Sunday rolls around. I’m missing church service, especially today.
Anyway, happy Easter, y’all!
Yeah. Just like his Two Corinthians.
Happy Easter! And yes, still celebrating Easter here, Easter Monday.
Cool, gkster. Happy Easter Monday to you and yours.
On another note, I live in California and used to work for a Swedish company. Did you know they get Good Friday off in Sweden, as a holiday? I found that interesting.
