This is neither mundane nor pointless. This is actually miscellaneous and personal.
Happy Easter, Dopers! Have a blessed Sunday!

He Is Risen!
Happy Easter. Enjoy the day.
Voistinu Voskrese!
He is risen indeed.
He is risen!
Hallelujah, he is risen!
Rabbits do not lay Eggs.
I spent Sunday at Saint Paul’s Episcopal.
I like peeps!
(I’m not religious, but I wanted to participate)
My family were not regular churchgoers, so breakfast was the big event for the day. We would get up early and go hunting for Easter eggs. Then Mom would use those eggs to make breakfast. Biscuits, topped with sliced eggs, topped with cream-curry gravy.
I’m not religious, but I miss that.
You also! Nice picture.
I ate an egg. It was pink with dots. The grandwrex were horrified.
My Easter is now complete!
I hope it wasn’t a bad, bad, bad egg!
I hope all are having / have had a good day today. Even if you’re not religious, thanks for participating and saying hello. Especially you guys, @Moriarty and @mbh .
Cool. I looked this up. Christos Voskrese!
Have a very blessed Pascha.
We did an egg hunt at home with the little one. I got a white chocolate… unicorn to gnaw on. No bunnies left at the store. Its name is Crafty Honey Blossom.
My kid liked the egg hunt but he’s been sleeping all day. Like falling asleep on the floor, sleeping for two hours, then falling asleep again. Not sure what’s going on with my unusually sleepy boy, but at least he got to do the egg hunt.
I’m a Heathen, but happy Spring Festivities to all. May the rebirth of decent weather (and baseball season) bring new joy to us all.
Happy Easter! Rejoice!
So that the families with kids could have Sunday to themselves, we had everyone over on Saturday to celebrate. I hid plastic eggs filled with candy and I also created an Easter basket hunt for the kids with clues they had to follow. It was fun watching kids from the age of 14 down to 3 having a great time. I bucked the system and instead of the usual ham and cheesy potato dinner, I made lasagna. It was much easier. I only needed a salad and garlic bread for the sides and my sisters brought them. All in all, it was a really nice day.
I believe in the Church of Baseball too. On Opening Day, hope springs eternal for all! But that will change for many come June, July, August
Happy Spring.
We had a very nice family brunch.
I was brought up in the Lutheran church, and I brought my kids up in the Methodist church, but I broke with religion many years ago. Nonetheless, I’ve always made an Easter basket for the adult daughter who still lives here and I send a little something to the one who lives far away.
But this year, even though I’d bought candy, I somehow forgot that yesterday was Easter until mid-afternoon! The Easter bunny didn’t show up until just before dinner (and the candy package is getting mailed out today). If only I’d checked in with the Dope early yesterday morning!
Happy belated Easter, everyone! (I think that works - it’s not like He wouldn’t still be risen.)
