Yay Leftie Day! I have ummm… used my mouse left handed, eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner with my lefthand, written with my left hand. Ok, I do that everyday.

Yes. Being a lefty is a horrible, horrible thing to have to suffer. In fact, we should get presents on Left Hander’s Day. It wouldn’t make up for it, but it would make our lives just a little bit brighter.

I grew up with a lefty for a dad, and another for a brother. More than that, my grandfather and all of my cousins (save one) are lefties. As is my uncle. Every male in my father’s line is a lefty, excepting myself and one cousin.
I grew up playing golf with left-handed clubs. Cutting paper with left-handed scissors. Being the odd one out simply because I used the left part of my brain more than the right.
If I have a son, odds are he’ll be one of you deformed freaks!
Kidding. From the rare righty who grew up inconvenienced by left-handedness in his family, more power to you. There are righties out there who love you, because you’re family.

I’m surprised there aren’t more people in this thread. I would guess that Dopers would have a higher proportion of left-handers than the general population.
