I’m not going to smoke anyone’s husband… it’s not that big a unit! :stuck_out_tongue:

You haven’t been to Alberta, have you? :dubious:

No, but I had an aunt by that name.

Anyone for flogging the bishop?

As quoted from a Pit thread about this

Smokin’!

My fingers are cold. Maybe I need to take them for a walk across the piano keys.

MOOOOOOM yay for smoker!!! I read the manual from cover to cover (well, the English part as I did not feel the need to brush up on my Spanish or French at the time) when I got my big ol’ ‘lectric smoker. A fascinatin’ page turner it was!

BBBobbio I don’t wander into the pit much but I may need to check out that thread. Heh. I know what “floggin’ the Bishop” means, but in this case, since this Bishop was elected by the Diocese (or the representatives of each Parish thereof) I lean toward a literal floggin’ of the Diocese (or of said representatives). Not a very good job of vettin’ that candidate.

Seriously, she had a DUI on record (conviction unsure) when she was elected.

It’s got multiple shelves, right?
Do you have a good sharp saw in the shed?

As for smoking someone’s husband, I suggest the husband of Mrs. Plant v3.0. Yanno, purely to try it out.

I see a Nepenthes in your future.

I bought one of these last week. I had no idea of the size of the pitchers.
However, as you mentioned, there are saws.

Wimmin – I swear I’ll never understand the critters. I’ll bet next time she gets lost she’ll ask someone fer directions too!

What size unit you’re used to ----------------- some things we just don’t need knowing.

We Lutherans always fall back on having the BTK Killer – but at least he was a Council President before the news broke and not after.

I don’t generally get lost - I know where I’m going before I leave home. So neener neener! :stuck_out_tongue:

The smoker is assembled and sitting behind me. Tomorrow, I’ll wheel it out and run the seasoning cycle. Then I’ll need to buy some stuff to be smoked. Or check out the freezer to see what’s in there. I know there’s a cornish game hen in the back. Wonder if there’s a poke roast?

Let the games begin!!

Turkey rice soup for supper - it’s cooking up right now. Yum!

My mum got given a Nepethes rajah 'cos no-one checked the pitcher size- it was ordered by the BBC for filming (done partly at the zoo), but someone back at the office presumably decided to save money, and order the cheapest available. It was weeny. Adorably teeny tiny, but totally useless for what they had in mind.

It’s all gone coold here. The kittehs are all confused (or at least the stoopit kitteh is)- she prefers to drink from a pot of rainwater someone left in the back yard, but the water’s all gone hard

She spent about 5 minutes licking at it yesterday.

In connected news, I went shopping for a new coat today- I didn’t have a smart, warm irk coat. I got a second-hand one, 'cos I ain’t paying much for something that will likely have beer or worse splashed down the front. Looks nice at the moment though.

Howdy from da cave! Dindin has been ingested. We et earlyish cause OYKW has some irkstuff to finish up at his place once again, poor thing. The rest of the week, however, shall be stay at da cave nights. YAY!!! I peeled and cubed some N.O.T. for smashed N.O.T. tomorrow. In a bit I shall brown up some cubed steak and cook up some green beans and carrots. I got me a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for cubed steak 'n gravy and smashed N.O.T. The vegetative matter is there to make it healthy.

My dad and sister and I bought SO MUCH discounted chocolate. My family has an unbelievable amount of chocolate available now. Why, I think it might even last until next year.

sips a club soda can

Sounds like a good, square meal.

**Midget **- if you feel the need to spread the wealth, chocolate-wise, I’ll be glad to help you out. Because I’m nice, dammit!

Turkey soup was pretty good. And I’ve got enough left for tomorrow’s lunch. It’s been a good day!

I think I shall recline and finish stitching squares together. MWAH!

Ok, foodstuffs have been prepared. Har spidey, btw! I am feelin’ really tahrd. I think I shall go lie upon the bed and watch teevee until sleepy time. I think I shall aid sleepy time via melatonin.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

I am wasting my time, but nonetheless, shall quote Dr. Johnson again.

“He who would pun would pick a pocket.”
