We just got back from our Christmas present and I’m exhausted. Having fun is hard work! The kids had a blast, Ivygirl lost $80 but got $50 back, unfortunately she also lost her glasses on the Congo River Rapid Ride. Ivyboy saw a lot of cute girls, saw one overweight woman get kicked off Shriek-ka because they couldn’t get the harness down over her stomach, and I confirmed my distaste of roller coasters by going on Montu. The kids went on all the rides they wanted to go on. We saw a baby gorilla, fed a giraffe, and watched zebras mating. We got loads of pictures. My feet hurt. I’m so tired I feel drunk.
So, since I will not be up at midnight EST, Happy New Year!
I don’t think I’m going to make it, either. We’re having a quiet night in - watching our new DVD of “Ned and Stacey”, first season, taking a nice bath, and off to bed. Woowoo. On the plus side, I made a nice dinner for us that was better than the $60 dinner we had out yesterday. I’m totally going to start just ordering soup in restaurants. I know - we’re wild people.
Happy New Year, everybody!
Happy New Year.
It’s good to be back, but I still find myself thinking about everyone that I left behind. I hope everybody there has a good New Year, most especially the Iraqis, who deserve a break for once.
And to you ivylass, featherlou, and Airman Doors, USAF. And to all dopers. Heres hoping 06 treats us better than 05 (even if 05 was good to you.)
Oh, Airman, you’re back! Thanks again for your service, and enjoy the wife and kidlet.
