Before you head out for the big day, think about the pros and cons of being an adult at Thanksgiving dinner.
I really shouldn’t read stuff like that at work. My actual work doesn’t make me LOL like that.
Happy Thanksgiving!

The great thing about having Turkey Day with the group coming over tomorrow is that it’s all one great big kid’s table. I shall remember to say sump’n about boogers.
ETA: HAPPY TURKEY DAY Y’ALL!!!
A happy, peaceful and safe Thanksgiving to everyone at the SDMB.
Just wanted to wish everybody a pleasant and bountiful day. Good times. Good food. Good experiences.

Same to you! I just started a similar thread!
I could not have said it better myself. And be safe out there!

Race to see which one gets the most views and posts!

Not!
Maybe the idea will be to see whose title survives the merge!
You’ve got it-- that’s the better way to look at it.
Ditto!
My sisters are both here. I’ll report back and let you know how everything goes.
We’re trying to decide which roasting method to use. It can get very confusing. Every web site has a different roasting time.
But I’m sure we’ll figure it out. We always do.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I’m very grateful for the SDMB. It has brought me countless hours of entertainment, information, encouragement, questions and answers all from the smartest people in the world.
Happy Thanksgiving Dopers!
Happy happy! Imma stalkin’ you Swampy. Thankful for that and for lost kitties found. Who could ask for better?
The family will gather, we’ll eat the same menu and play cards, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ll be at church later in the morning, but my bread is already baked. It may be the last Thanksgiving we have while my grandmother is with us(she’s less than a month short of being 107), so I’ll give thanks for being witness to such a remarkable life.
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone enjoys the day.
We have rain today. That gives me the perfect excuse to skip my walk. What more could a girl ask for?
Well, besides turkey and dressing and yams and black beans and rice and…I think I’ll skip the scale tomorrow.
My mom and I are together this year for Thanksgiving.
I’m so thankful that she’s here and still healthy & safe. Time to build a few more great memories together.
Peace in the house, the sun is shining, kitties on my lap, a duck to roast, I can’t ask for more. Happy Thanksgiving All!
