The last dishwasher load just finished. That was 3 and we handwashed pans.

Yeah, that’s also a very valid, and probably big point.
I did cheat this year. In addition to garlic knots, baked mac and cheese, and the stuffed jalapenos, I brought tzatziki, cilantro chimichurri, and marinara sauce all made from scratch (for dipping). A couple of tablespoons of chimichurri on top the turkey was most helpful.
