It seems that Natasha Larson did not get along with her husband’s ex-wife. Not sure why. But Larson hated the ex-wife enough to want to really mess up her life. So Larson took out a personal ad in Craigslist that said essentially as follows:
And under this solicitation, she put the ex-wife’s name, address, and cell phone. The ad also encouraged men to just come right over without calling and said that her boyfriend was cool with it.
The ex-wife knew nothing of this. All of sudden, with no explanation, a number of Florida’s most charming men began calling, texting, and showing up at her house with “explicit expectations.” This freaked her out, as you might expect; she even posted a sign on her front door saying basically, “if you’re here for rough sex, please go away.” By the way, the ex-wife lives with three children, two of whom are the children of the former husband whose new wife was now sending predators to visit.
Finally, the ex-wife prevailed upon one of her gentleman callers to disclose the ad that brought him there. Local police used this to trace the ex-wife, who has been indicted on a felony charge relating to identity theft (and may also face stalking charges).
This is all so dismaying. If one can’t trust Craiglist sex ads, what certainty is left in this world?
