- Even DemonTree has essentially conceded that the OP is false, and
- We’re limited to debating the OP.
Maybe it’d be better off closed, with the topic reopened with a better OP?

The subject is very tough to moderate. I put extra effort into trying to keep it from rehashing past arguments and going off the rails into side issues.
The only one to get a warning was a strongly suspected troll who immediately violated the 2nd modnote very shortly after I made it.
Please note, no other warnings.
It seems like we can talk about this subject like adults, but it is hard not to get fired up about it.
Additionally; we’ve lost some very good posters over this subject, 3 recently. I still hope they’ll return.
I conceded one small part of it is false, and everyone else seems to agree the rest is true. At this point the debate is around what the policy should be - a debate that’ll be taking place off this board over the next 100 days and is far from settled.

Seeing as how nothing seems to be changing here, I don’t think that will be any time soon. The very title of the thread, referring to us as “biological males” is transphobic and @DemonTree has a history of trolling in this way, especially her constantly bringing up how anyone who shares her bigoted views are being “cancelled”. And with @Ed_Zotti making it clear this behavior will continue unpunished, I was right to stop posting here.

No, we didn’t lose them over the topic they were driven away by a terrible made up on the spot rule that banned one of them from a thread for posting too much.
I can only think of 1, and you just heard from her, and she’s made it clear that troll-sustaining decisions like Ed’s are not going to fulfil that hope.
Any posters on the transphobic side we may have lost are no great loss.
