Hope she’s okay - Spain’s been hard hit by the virus.

I have also worried about her.
Nava is from Spain? You’re kidding, I never knew that!

Okay, I am poking a bit, and imma feel like an asshole if something bad happened to her. Hey Nava you out there?
She’s got an email in her profile: I’ve sent her one telling her that Dopers are concerned, with a link to this thread.
Hang in there, Nava!
I’ll bet she’s been sent home from her latest gig, and she’s discovered she enjoys relaxing in a hammock far away from anyone else…
Because at heart she’s a basking separatist.
I see what you did there.
throws a rock at digs
Yeah, I’m alive, thanks guys, and specially galen
This whole thing has people looking inwards and I’m no exception, I’m afraid. Between finally having a new project (no billing for the whole first quarter makes Nava a scared self-employed) which is having issues starting due to the complication of working online from day one*, the time I’m spending doing kitchen experiments, that somehow the amount of contact with my family is actually being higher (usually I’m the only one who can’t be talked to in person), and tracking the requirements and restrictions here… I’ll admit to not giving as much of a shit about the world outside my windows as I usually do.
bows The simplest solution is usually the best.
Glad to hear you’re keeping well.
Glad you’re ok, Nava.
Yay!
Good to hear from you, Nava!
Glad you are ok, Nava!
Good to hear from you, Nava! I’d like to know more about your “kitchen experiments.”
Glad everything’s well with you, Nava.
Nava threw a rock at me!
::sigh::I think she likes me…
Is this person bothering you, Nava? :dubious:
Good to hear you are safe.
So uplifting to see.
I’m in the same business with the same sorts of issues. They keep telling us we can do everything remote, but in reality you often need a lot of face-time right at the start of a project just to get access set up properly, and establish communication flow. Once you get through that initial hump, then you can move into effectively working remotely.
