Has anyone heard of a virus that changes the computer time to 04/04/4034?

I might be wrong about the year but it’s close to that.

My backup PC is changing it’s date every time I start it up. I’ve scanned it with a couple of programs and found no virus but I was wondering if there was a specific one I should be looking for. Googling has netted no results so far.

Originally I thought it was due to a couple recent power outages and my old and dying UPS, but a replacement UPS has not stopped the occurances.

By “start it up,” do you mean a hard reboot? If so, I would check to see if your BIOS battery needs replacing.
