It’s time to renew my passport. I spend a pretty substantial amount of time abroad, and I’ve been carrying around a passport with an ugly photo for ten years. I’m being vain, but I want a good photo this time. Passport photo places seem to have a nack for taking bad pictures. Has anyone ever tried to make their own with their digital camera? I’ve found some information about the requirements, and I think I can figure out how to make it the right size and everything using Photoshop. But am I just going to screw it up and have the renewal denied?
I have never taken my own.
I have made the passport photo place retake my picture several times until I was happy with it. They didn’t seem to mind.
