@Ann_Hedonia, I love ya, but your experience is totally different than mine. I live in one of the reddest states (Kentucky) and am only one of a handful of people I know personally who voted for Biden. Most people here worship at the altars of Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell.
I can’t say that I’ve noticed anyone actually liking Mike Pence, even among the Republicans I know in Indiana (I live just outside of Louisville, right on the Ohio River that separates the two states).
But Trump? He’s big here. He’s like Jesus in Italy.
And I constantly have to hear how great he is, how Biden is both a criminal mastermind who rigged and election, and a feeble old dementia patient who shows less life than Bernie Lomax.
My Wife and I are kinda solitary people. We live mountain rural. When we got new ‘neighbors’ about 1/4 mile away, we discovered that they where from Texas. Alarms go off in my head. But they hate Trump as much as we do. We are good friends.
It’s crazy. Trump supporters see this very stupid criminal and traitor as some sort of savior. The only explanation I can come up with is that Trump supporters want to be just like him. A liar, cheater and crook that gets away with it. They freaking admire him.
Or they are dumb as a bag of hammers. Takes a little of both really.
What was the last truthful thing that Trump said? Anybody?
I take it you have never heard of dog whistles. I am unaware that Soros has ever been mentioned in terms of the “stolen” election. And I never ever used “Nazi”, you did.
Do you see a contradiction between these two statements? You claim there was cheating in the 2016 election, but the investigation found nothing. Maybe there wasn’t cheating?
A thing that right winger believe is that they are the majority, and every other opinion isn’t real. In fact, Democrats outweigh Republicans by a comfortable majority. But the electoral system is badly flawed, and leads to Republicans being overrepresented in government.
Notice that I don’t say that they ‘cheat’ because it is following the existing system. It is just that the existing system is biased in favour of Republicans. Without the bias in the system, the Republicans would lose every time.
Are you aware, for instance, that there are millions of American citizens in US Territories, Puerto Rico, Guam, and others that don’t get to vote in Presidential elections, and aren’t represented by Senators. They do have Representatives. If you gave them Senators, and you should, then Republicans would never have a majority in the Senate. If you allowed them to participate in Presidential elections, you would never have a Republican as President.
And the Electoral College system is fundamentally flawed, allowing Trump to win, while losing the popular vote.
Oh, I’m not claiming my experience is typical, I know lots of people love Trump and that there are vast swathes of the nation that are “Trump Country”.
My point was more along the lines of -you can’t judge the country by the people that surround you. There are Trump supporters that think there was a cheat because they don’t know any Biden supporters. I was just pointing out that there are people that don’t know many Trump supporters, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
I’ve gotta admit, when I moved to a purple state I wasn’t thrilled about the possibility of dealing with Trump supporters and I was surprised at how blue my neighborhood is - I’m not saying there are no Trump supporters, but they are outnumbered enough that they mostly shut up, and the ones that don’t have a reputation as the neighborhood cranks,
Of course this is probably due to the fact that I live in a city that has seen an influx of skilled jobs, and I live in a neighborhood that was developed less than 15 years ago. So almost everyone that lives here is moved here recently from somewhere else.
Why is asking you to provide proof that there was cheating a left wing narrative? The arguments you provide are the same on every platform where Trump supporters allege the election was stolen. Sorry, I’m too exhausted by the argument to dig up a link from my FB page. Maybe you can answer this:
How could anyone steal an election where 120,000,000 Americans voted? How could thousands of poll workers - friends, family members, neighbors, volunteers, elected officials, folks with different political views - hide their involvement in the alleged treasonous activities you are espousing? People use social media to show what they eat, when they pick their nose, opinions about EVERYTHING, yet no one that I am aware (except guy who admitted using his deceased mother’s ballot to vote twice for Trump) has provided proof of election tampering. Can you imagine what social media would have looked like if there had been crooked activity?
Or this: which states didn’t cheat?
It isn’t media, China, communist or liberal brainwashing to request proof or even ask the above questions.
