Idaho has done a couple county recounts due to the mypillow guy. Seems like everyone of them ends up with Biden gaining votes. Have there been any recounts that benefited the loser of the election?

I had been a libertarian, with and without a capital ‘L’, my entire voting life, very proud of the fact that in 1972 I was registered to vote in Virginia, one of the states in which John Hospers and Tonie Nathan were running as write-in candidates. Further, thanks to a faithless Electoral College voter who got pissed off at Nixon, Nathan became the first woman to receive an EC vote, years ahead of Geraldine Ferraro. I was active in the California Libertarian Party from 1981 until 1992 when my wife died and I became too depressed to do much of anything but I still voted for the Libertarian candidate for any office where one was offered up.
All that changed when Trump was elected. I did not vote for Clinton but – like most people – was surprised when I woke up that Wednesday morning to find Trump had been elected. No big deal – except he kept making it one, whining like a petulant two-year old when this was pointed out to him. I grew more and more impatient with his antics until about a month later I started a No more Trump clock, counting the time down until January 20, 2020.
As time went by it became more and more obvious that Trump liked the trappings of being President but had no interest in Presidentin’ as a job. About eighteen months later I said on this board, and elsewhere, that as a Libertarian I could not be enthusiastic about any President who had been elected in my lifetime but however much I might disagree – at times vehemently – with his policies, up until Trump I had not the slightest doubt that however misguided he might be, he had the interests of this nation at heart.
With Trump I had the impression it was all about his ego and grifting. In 2018 I changed my registration from Libertarian to Independent. In Arizona Independent voters can choose any party’s ballot in a primary election.
This board does have a liberal bias. I have been castigated several times for being Republican-lite until I pointed out my political heroes were Lysander Spooner and Emma Goldman, not Adam Smith and Ayn Rand. And two. The big lie is that the election was honest. If you had open minds, eyes and ears, you would have seen that on election night the instant that Brian Williams cut Trump off. He was SCARED, and they should ALL be scared because Trump would have won so “bigly” that they had to cheat on a galactic scale, and that created statistical anomalies that are impossible to explain any other way.
