Has Everwood been cancelled?

I’ve cut back a bunch on my TV watching since my regular cluster of “Shows I Tape” went into holiday special hiatus, and I’ve just realized that I don’t keep forgetting to tape Everwood, it doesn’t appear to have returned after the first of the year! How come I haven’t heard anything about this? I checked out TVWithoutPity and it was a little vague…they seemd to imply that they stopped recapping the show, not that it was cancelled.

So what’s the scoop?

It doesn’t appear to be cancelled, the next episode is scheduled to air (According to TV.com) on March 20th. Episodes appear to air weekly after that up until May 1st.

As to what happens next season, I have no idea.

This article suggests that it may not survive the merger of the WB into the new CW Network, but it’s nothing but supposition.
