With “Flavour of Love 3” coming out, my fiancée asked something along the lines of “Why can’t he stick with someone?”
I told her that there was no way that any actual relationships (apart from business) were formed as a result of that show, that none of those women went home with “Flavor,” they had no sex, and that the whole thing is just for laughs.
She then shamed me by basically crying “Cite!”
I have to admit that all I had to answer her with is, “Well, it’s an obvious put-on, isn’t it?” Which is kind of lame - some people can look at a banana and see “obvious” and irrefutable evidence of a loving creator.
Is anyone aware of reliable evidence (either way) on this issue of vital importance?
Don’t Flav and almost all contestants tongue kiss and grope each other on the show? I can’t imagine at least a few of them who would go that far would be opposed to going farther, since its pretty much established anyone would appear with a guy like him on a show like that is pretty whorish anyways.
It’s impossible to say for sure, but I’d think the sort of person who would be on a show like that would be the sort of person who’s nail a rich music star because they’re rich music stars. No matter how ugly a guy is, if he’s a music star, there are women who’ll flock to him.
But, but, but, if he actually ended up in a relationship with one of those women, the series would end!
Seriously, Flavor Flav has several children by several women. Monogamy is not his strong suit and never will be. This series is his cash cow, his extension of his fifteen minutes of fame and everyone involved knows it.
