Just got back from a meeting with some of the higher-ups here at work.
My immediate supervisor told me that I used five(!) Simpsons references during the course of the meeting. Is it just me, or does anyone else do this? Have I finally watched an unhealthy amount of the Simpsons?
In just one conversation earlier today, I quoted The Simpsons seven times. I’m just as unhealthy as you.

Firstly, you can NEVER have too much Simpsons.
Secondly, quoting Simpsons lines has become a Western symbol of humour. People who DON’T quote Simpsons are odd. The way I see it, Simpsons me up.
(Ah well, off to go put in one of my 14 tapes filled with Simpsons episodes).

I find it a little scary that I quote the Simpsons five times without noticing… well, at least the meeting was a few laughs.
I consider it a mark of refined elegance if a person can catch all of the Simpson’s references and lines I use.
There’s no such thing as “too much Simpsons.” Or “Futurama,” for that matter.
Nearly every time Peta Tzunami and I pull into a large parking lot, I say, “Now remember, we’re parked in the ‘Itchy’ section.”
Every single time I get a prompt on the screen to “push any key to continue” guess what I think of?
If there is a such thing as “too much Simpsons” I haven’t reached it yet. I could watch an episode for the 4th or 5th time (and usually do every night at 7:30) and just lose it every time.
You can never have enough of the Simpsons. The thing is there is a Simpsons quote that can relate to ANY scenario.

Moe got me thinking, I haven’t seen that episode in a long time. “Your fingers are too find to dial. To obtain special dialing wand, mash palm on number pad.”
Probably not the exact quote, but funny nonetheless.
Find was supposed to be fat. Damn typos. Maybe I need a typing wand.

I have a friend who speaks almost exclusively in Simpsons quotes. No matter what you say to him, he has a quote for it. I love that guy

The UPN here show two Simpsons a day, 6pm and 6:30pm. I do not think UPN is a big station, is it? Anyway, does everyone else get this luxary? I watch Simpson 11 times a week and I still do not get enough.
Hey–do you think back in the day people quoted Shakespeare as much as we quote The Simpsons?
I have changed all of my computers sounds so Simpsons quotes. So every time I do anything on my computer, I get a laugh.
And you wouldn’t believe how pissed I was when UPN decided to cut an episode each day to show an extra episode of “Friends.” I had to go from watching 16 episodes a week to 11. The horror!
